Our products are the result of a large community of users working independently and as collaborators over many years. We started out as one person’s quest to better understand what makes great classical singers. With the help of many singers, voice teachers, engineers, programmers and researchers, we have grown to be so much more. A younger generation that grew up with personal computers continues to expand how are tools are used in ways that we never imagined:

• non-classical singers interested in belting and other techniques
• actors interested in the properties of their stage voices
• speech pathologists interested in non-invasive methods to diagnose and treat speaking disorders
• voice therapists helping clients to better understand and train their voices
• instrument makers interested in analyzing the sound qualities of their designs

Most importantly, we are a community of users pursuing individual interests wherever those might lead. Like our users, VoceVista isn’t dedicated to a specific outcome, or interested in promoting a series of proprietary exercises on the path toward some defined result. The goal of VoceVista and our many researchers who use our tools is to better understand sound phenomena and enhance our art through a rigorous method of scientific inquiry. Our users are the most important part of this goal as they continue to expand our understanding by employing the tools we build in ways we never imagined.
